Slovakian market for MCM design?
I'm not sure whether I'm competent to comment this 🙂 with my little amount of knowledge, but at least I'll try to...
If you mean whether people here buy MCM design, I would say, that I think, there are few people here really caring about design history. Maybe it's just about money and market, but also there is little awareness about good design. Most people are just amazed by ikea stuff (some of which I also like 🙂 I must say)and stylish looking stuff in interior magazines.
hmmm,
I don't really know about them.. I'm not from capital, there might be some probably 🙂 but something is surely sold per internet, although there isn't slovak version of ebay yet 🙂
Anyway, i think czech rep. is a bit better 🙂 at least in prague where i'm now. there is some antique on each corner here.
Hi All - Justin from Cape Town South Africa
I am a dealer in MCM & Studio ceramics, just completed the first reference guide to South African ceramic marks, monograms & signatures. There are (and were) some world class studio potters here, only now being recognized! Anyone out there own some SA ceramics? I would love to see what's out there and where it travelled to.
