You can return the item, but you will have to pay for return shipping. You will receive a refund for the total cost of the original transaction. Yes, it sucks and you may stand to lose significant money if shipping internationally. So keeping the item and reselling it may be a better option to cut your losses. Either way, negative feedback is probably in order. Good luck.

Okay, I checked for trackable shipping: only EMS taxipost offers it. However, it seems very expensive for this item. So guess i'm going with the 50 % offer. Perhaps I can resell it locally to someone who goes on a trip around the world à la Jules Verne..
