I particularly like the platform the chair stands on and wonder why the designer did not carry the pattern through to the ottoman's platform. Functionally, however, the chair lacks elbow rests, which would lead me to reject it. Still, the Tok-m is an interesting try.

Product Demo
If you follow some links around the website they show an animated product demo, as well as photos of actually occupied chairs. My concern is not so much for the elbow rests, but for the lumbar support.
Interestingly there is no mention of Charles or Ray, or even "modern". A couple of quotes about blending Japanese and Scandinavian design - altho it clearly has the shapes/plywood of the 670.

thanks for the analysis...
i just looked quickly and did not see an angle that revealed the lack of lumbar support. and failing to pay homage when you're working that close to the original is pretty unprofessional.

Thanks for linking to my site... 😉
The thirty seconds I sat in a Tok once,... where very comfortable... but I must say I also missed the armrests... And yes,... it's a pity they never mentioned C&R Eames.
