For only $80,000.00 you could have.....
"this extraordinarily rare piece from the Mid 20th Century. It is literally a piece of art which in essence is the epitomy of 20th Century Design"

It's no joke.
It is no joke, because the listing fees to have something priced so high, must have been a couple a hundred dollars, non refundable. My question is:
What's the deal with the cat?

I Just Love
I Just Love the idea that 'Nelson, Bertoia, Miller, Gilbert Rohde, Widdicomb, Noguchi, Wormley & Sottsass' collaborated on a project, and ended up with a kitsch thrift store table ;o)

my dear friends .... what ...
my dear friends .... what you have witnessed on ebay is what we call here in America sheer Ignorance!!!!
This guy does not have a clue what he has , just the fact that he has listed
almost every know designer he can think of , hoping to snag something
unfourtanly it doesn't work that way ,
In my humbel opion it is a piece of home made junk !!!!!! and is one of the biggest jokes played upon us . I don't think one person with a brain would give that clown $80,000 for that
piece of crap with out documentation. from a recognized source ....sorry clown maybe you have a little swamp lamp in Florida we could buy. check the joke out on ebay 220133562177

builder, hope you're kidding
I like the piece that I posted (not the original item in question). I just know it's worth no more than $600-800 in good condition!

wire chairs not as bad
Those are just a misattribution. Those wire chairs are from the Netherlands and are in fact by a well known designer named Cees Braakman.
The lamp/table however, is less misattribution, more wishful thinking.

I rather like the Brakamn chairs, and funnily enough just picked up that Plycraft chair for next to nothing.
I guess it is rarer here in the UK !
