I just picked up this patio set. First, because we need one. And second, because I've never seen one quite like it, with the rounded backs and light green color. Does anyone know when these were produced and by whom?
Thank you!

I found it!
It's By J.R. Clark, from the early 1960's.
I paid $40, and my research suggests that was a very good find. Especially since this set appears to be in immaculate condition. I can't even find a scratch.
Thank you!
Mel

Simply lovely patio set!
Did it come with the following warning?? "DO NOT ATTEMPT TO SIT ON THIS CHAIR BUCK NAKED". I understand that potentially you could have a temporary issue with your flesh..or something like that. I really don't comprehend.
Best,
Aunt Mark.

Unfortunately I did not read this before sitting on this set - you guessed it - buck naked. I no longer have control of my lower body and my hair's on fire.

Would I be crazy
to suggest that we might be looking at fresh paint rather than miraculously preserved original finish ?

I wondered that too
But I can't find any indication that they have been pained. They were in a closet in a home and apparently, according to the family, had never really been used. The house was like a museum, actually, which can be rare with estates sales, as you guys all know. Whoever the deceased parents were, they were finicky regarding their stuff. Score!
