I have a Craft Associates chair that is one of the most bizaar I have ever seen and would love to know if anyone is an expert in this field so that I can find out if there is a designer associated with this chair, if it is rare/sought after, etc.
Thanks!

Some info on the chair:
Jetson-like
Round base cushion with a very high back that wraps continuously to create the arm rests.
Plywood skeleton.
The base seems to be solid cherry.

It's most likely Adrian Pearsall. He did that style of stuff for them.
I started to reupholster an Adrian Pearsall sofa once and gave up. The frame wasn't very well made and I think parts of it were upholstered before the frame was completely assembled, which made reupholstering more complicated.

Thank you Spanky!
I would say it is his also! I am now contacting his son, as he is still alive but with alzheimer's unfortunately.
Can't thank you enough- have had this chair for 20 yrs, and somehow I think it is a gem in the history of American furniture design.
