I have a set of chairs that are lovely, but I am looking for more info on the manufacturer. The label says Mc, and I can't find anything online. Does anyone know of any references that i could use to find out more info? I have attached a link that shows the label on the chair.

Thanks

How to tell between rosewood and teak?
Back to the same chairs - I am having a difficult time determining whether of not the chairs I have are teak or Rosewood, as one pair has a walnut-like finish and the others have a dark red finish. Mcintosh made both rosewood and teak chairs at the time. Any way to tell the difference between teak made to look like rosewood and rosewood?

They are teak
Rosewood is redder and has a larger deeper patination with darker blacker markings.

Rosewood
I've had the chairs in both rosewood and teak and it's usually quite easy to tell the difference.
Rosewood shown here with matching sideboard and drinks cabinet.

Thanks for the picture. I must also have two that are teak (lighter stain) and three that are rosewood. I just thought it was the stain and not the wood. Great chairs.
