I'd love to have it too. Kathie is allergic to shrimp, and it seems every time I see crab cakes at the market they have shrimp in the ingredients.

Sorry, whitespike
I must have gotten you mixed up with someone else here.
So what is it that you find frightening about the shrimp/egg/dill/lemon/mayo sandwich? It's a classic Danish smørrebrød combo!
Pretty spider.
P.s. Baltimore crab cakes are the best!

Question for Olive
Question for Olive! I've found comments from you on this blog regarding your old ikea romme chair and have a query. i have one in red and like you love it, but am moving house and the bright red just won't fit in right! I need to re-upholster it and was wondering if you still had the photos of what you did with yours? I tried a link to a blog you'd posted in a comment from back in 2007 but it doesn't work.
Also did you re-upholster them yourself or did you get a professional to do it?
Thanks for any info!

Hi Lou Mac
Yes, I did it myself. But I wouldn't recommend doing that unless you've got upholstery experience as it was a fairly challenging project with lots of curves and odd bits. It took about 10 yards of fabric for 2 chairs and about 15 hours of effort. I took apart the existing cover and used it as the template. The fuzzy stuff that is on the bottom that the velcro sticks to can be bought online. I think I googled something like 'velcro fabric' to find it.
I think they were worth redoing and they looked great once I did them so even if you pay someone, I'd say go for it.
