If you're ever in Hamburg. . .  

We stayed last Saturday night in a cool, very mod, new hotel called SIDE,(sorry for the all caps but that's how they spell it). Large rooms, by European standards, fabulous lobby, bar and restaurant. The pix below are of the conference room and the lounge on the 7th floor. By the way, I sat on the couches and they are horribly uncomfortable (to me, at least). I felt like I was going to slip off the edges because of the way they are contoured. I looked under the little pouf ottoman/stools to find a label but didn't see one. Does anyone know who designed them? I'm assuming they are high design, simply because of the real Eames chairs in the conference room and the quality of the finishes throughout the rest of the hotel.

Anyway, a very nice experience and a nice price at only 179 Euros per night.
