If you could go back,... What would you say?

It is nice to be invited back.
It is fair to say that many, if not, most students in ten years time will not be in the career for which they studied.
However, if they do they will often realise that they were ill-prepared for that career. And if they were to go it alone, as most would like, then they are even worse prepared.
However, I had the oportunity to write a furniture course, from scratch, having been in the cruel outside world as well as in the secure environment of a university.
In writing the course I tried to address the issues I found lacking when I was a student.
I have outlined the course (and at the same time blown my own trumpet - something I never did before) in the group below

I should add that very few students dropped out. In fact many stayed on an extra year as you will see if you read the 'group'.
Aslo, not all got careers in this industry though quite a few ended up in associated areas
