Would anybody know the make/history of this fibreglass shell chair? I "rescued" it from a home that was throwing out all their old contents and based on the age of everything else I estimate that this chair is at least 30-40 years old. Whenever I look up info on shell chairs I keep getting the obvious Eames hits, which this is definitely not.

No Marks...
There are no marks on the chair at all. It was in pretty rough shape when I picked it up so any maker's marks must have worn away.
I looked up your chairs you mentioned in the above post and although they look very similar it seems there's a slight different in the lower edge of the chair. Yours seems to curve slightly downward while my chair's edge is a "straight line" forward.

Further investigation...
The lines of the chair are quite close to the Nobili "Medea" chair ('55) except that my chair doesn't have the hole in the back. Perhaps it's an Italian knock-off from the 60s?
