Identify Italian Glassware?

Hey, gang.

I've been collecting this pattern of Glassware and the only mark is the word ITALY on the bottom.

Anybody know anything about who designed and manufacturered the line...or where were they sold?

Any help would be appreciated.

Odd, I have some myself, I suspect they are just good glasses, quite heavy...love the ribbing.Have no idea of age or designer.Refreshing, change from the plethora of furniture questions...anyone?

They are nice
I think they were inexpensive and available everywhere at the time, but I wish I knew:
1) who designed them
2) who made them
3) how long were they available
I have collected
4 mugs
5 large tumblers
6 highball glasses
14 water glasses
4 coffee cups
1 candy dish
