A good strategy if you have the square footage.  I know MetroRetro down here in Texas does the same, with a massive warehouse packed to the ceiling  with highly marked-up items that sit for years (photo from a recent visit).  What's not a good strategy, IMO, is listing a Dan Johnson chair as by an obscure British retailer.

Hello!

I have attached pics of one of two Modern Chairs that I would like to Identify. I have a second chair with arms, both chairs are covered in calf skin, both purchased in Montana many yrs. ago. I have tried to research the chair and found a couple of “Hunting” chairs that were somewhat similar in profile but no match. Please let me know your thoughts on this piece. Chair is 30 ½” H X 30 ½ L, by 20” W

@glacialarc  Your photos are not displaying. They need to be under 2mb to upload. Also, you probably want to start a new thread for your chairs, rather than adding on to this one.
