Hi everybody, This picture was posted a while back and since then (and before) I saw these chairs turn up in europe as well as united states. They are solid built pieces, often executed in teak or walnut. The chair reminds of a Ib Kofod Larsen design in general form but is far more austere in detail or execution. This is the only variation I realy know of and it seems it was a commercial and international succes. Does someone have any info on this chair? I know, its not an Arbuck Nelson designed set, but please, give it your best shot... Thanks in advance!

Wel, one can rule out certain possibilities to come to the correct one, no? I don't won't to play a smartass but both producers mostly made metal based furniture. The curve of the backrest was likely an inspirational form this time of period. So it seems they jumped on that train, too. Even Hans Olsen did something similar in his shell-chairs. I'm struck by the fact this specific design was so popular and broadly produced, but not a thing is known of its origin. I walked by a shop (electronics, audio, ...) and there were 8 of these, renemnants of the original interior, way back. Couldn't get any info.. Your input though, Arthur, is greatly appreciated.
