"Although I like the general...
"Although I like the general proportions and backrest, It seems so bulky, no refinement at all in the execution?
Quality of the wood also seems rather poor."
This description accurately describes Jeanneret Chandigarh furniture as well. Doesn't make them any less desirable to the collector/investor.

Ah, I don't think these are comparable.
The Kandigarh designs are just a certain style, while I find this design lacks style. It just doesn't deliver.
I don't care about commercial value, this isn't the point, we are discussing esthetics, no?

I never made any qualitative...
I never made any qualitative comments about the chair. Based upon its credited designer, well-respected cabinetmaker, and rarity, it is an excellent find for the price, irrespective of what either of us thinks about the design.
I'm not a huge fan of many of Kaare Klint's chairs designs, but if I came across one for less than a tenth of its consensus retail value, I'd happily buy it.

I have checked
And there is a burn marking on the chair. In the symbol there seems to be standing a 2. Does anybody have or can reply me the correct marking of this chair so I can check.
Thanks a lot again!

I'm not sure what ...
I'm not sure what "standing a 2" looks like, but here is the Christensen & Larsen logo (C being the positive space burn, with the L formed in the negative space). Sorry for the poor quality example.
*edited to add another example of logo.

Here are some pictures
It is fotographed with a different focus. The 2 is aligned.
Thank again!

I am by no means questioning...
I am by no means questioning the attribution, but there is no reference to the chair in:
"40 years of Danish furniture design : the Copenhagen Cabinetmakers? Guild exhibitions 1927-1966 ; Dansk møbelkunst gennem 40 aar : Københavns Snedkerlaugs møbeludstillinger 1927-1966 / Jalk, Grethe . - Tåstrup, 1987, Bd. 3, s. 173 .- ISBN: 8775117118"
I just looked through my copy and the only Christensen & Larsen piece by Kofod-Larsen is this easy chair and footstool.

Wright had a pair
and site the source for the attribution.
Leif had noted the same reference in his post way above.

Out of curiosity, has anyone...
Out of curiosity, has anyone seen an authentication of this design as Kofod-Larsen in a period publication?

I see your enjoyment of the chair is only of short nature 🙂
As it has appeared (quite shamelessly) on the same vendingsite as where you bought it:

I guess that gives new...
I guess that gives new meaning to "enjoy with great care."
Plus ça change, plus c'est la même chose.

Very entertaining.
I see the "only 10 pieces ever made" claim is being further propagated.
Good luck on the sale. The other available ones in Chicago and Germany have been listed for quite some time.

And since there seems to...
And since there seems to have been a server malfunction with Retroliving photo links, I'll go ahead and re-post for anyone coming late to this thread.
At 3950 Euro asking price, that would be quite a profit over the 250 Euro paid two days ago.
