Thank you for your help in assisting us to identify the pieces. We have seen several examples of similar chairs on the internet. Other than your coffee table, we have not seen any others on-line.
We did contact the 2 auction houses you recommended. So far, we have received one estimated value of $4000 to $6000 (for the entire lot) from the auction house in L.A. The quote was based on the photos---not an actual physical inspection. Does that seem like a reasonable estimate to you?
You mentioned that you thought the chairs may have been re-upholstered with a more substantial lumbar support. We don't recall them ever looking any
different. Could it be an optical illusion due to the camera angle?
