I bought a childs version of this chair for a friend's young son.. I loved it!
I have the matching dining table (with the 3 blocks of black melamine) sitting here in my London home with the legs off wondering what to do with it !

I just wanted to put
the link in the right box...and use the opportunity to mention that we (at home) have been using these particular chairs with black top for the last 20 years or so. The only problem we have had with them is that the winters here are extremely dry (heating cold air with almost no humidity makes the warmer air cork dry)and the black seats (a pre-formed 3-plywood) have in some cases dried out of the frame. Otherwise they are fine diningroom chairs and the construction is just too smart to be overlooked. Good luck with your restauration

What do
you make of the fact that the three legs which support the back (yes, it's a rare and logical solution to the problem of the armchair, isn't it) are splayed out; I suppose it has to do with the maximum necessary diameter of the seat vs the required or desired roominess of the upper hoop ?
That's a chair one isn't tempted to tip back on two legs, in !
