hi all
i purchased this set yesterday
i was told they were from the marriott hotel chain
i have been doing my best in searching but have
come up with nothing.
the blue fabric & curve base may look pearsall
has laminate top on table
anyone seen similar before?

i did find one, but attributed similar to Martin Borenstein or George Nelson...
they removed the curved bar at the bottom...
what say you?

The pieces you bought do indeed look like hotel furniture and nothing like Pearsall. Hotel furniture made for the big chains is mostly sturdy, low-maintenance, and inexpensive. It is on par with instutitional stuff. I hope you didn't pay much!
The photo you found also looks like something one might also find in a hotel, or maybe the waiting room of a dentist or doctor. As for "Similar to the Martin Borenstein or George Nelson modular seating units but with a much nicer frame" (the seller's description, not yours) that's debatable (I'm being polite). Here are the two things they're comparing it to:
