Hello, this is my first post, & I'm thrilled to find this site. I recently purchased almost a household full of Danish modern furniture. Most pieces have been easy to figure out, but I'm not totally sure about this headboard. Do these marks mean it's Paul Hundevad? I'm only guessing, because I saw another piece online that had the same marks, & it was advertised as Paul Hundevad. I bought a tea cart that is his, but the label is different. Thank you for any advice!

Yep, and for Google's benefit, let me reiterate that the "CHO" mark is actually to be read as HCO for Hundevad and Co, which is a different company than Poul Hundevad. I believe the HCO logo pre-dates the "HU" logo that is also for Hundevad and Co.

Ok...I think I get it. So it is not Poul Hundevad, but Hundevad and Co? Would it be possible to determine the designer? Thank you so much for your help!

I was not suggesting you don't get it. This is a long standing misattribution that many knowledgeable people have made for a while. I would like to see it corrected. That is all.
Perhaps a bigger photo of the headboard? i wouldn't get my hopes up much about the designer. I've only ever seen Carlo Jensen's name on Hundevad & Co pieces, and he is not exactly a big name.

Oh no, I hope you didn't take my comment the wrong way. I really am a bit confused! 🙂 It is so helpful to have found this site. I really appreciate you taking the time to help me! I have a few other pieces I'm not sure about, that I hope to post today. I am so excited about all of the pieces I purchased, but I think I went a bit overboard and bought too much. I may have to sell a few things!

I didn't realize that photo was so small! Here is a better photo from the auction page. I'm not able to get a good photo myself right now.
