...or another reply might be that it's a Vladimir Kagan low-backed Contour Chair... Really not such an obvious google search and a perfectly reasonable question for a forum like this. Sheesh.

Although it must get frustrating for some I'm in agreement with maxbernat.
I'd hate not to feel comfortable asking a relative simple question of some and a not so simple one for me!
It'd be a nicer place and less cringe worthy.... just a thought.

for some in the UK, for instance, that chair is not so easily recogniseable- I wouldn't have been able to identify it immediately.
As a world wide resource we should be willing to share- just because we know something it doesn't mean the next person will.

I have done every conceivable google image search for mcm teak lounge chairs over the past few months and I never noticed that particular one showing up in the results. But now I know what it is if I ever need the knowledge, so thanks!
(Oh, and P.S.---in response to a recent ID request by tinyarmada, I looked through many pages of google images and found an example that they had somehow missed. So there ya go.)
