Seriously, this one beautifully understated, but just right house.
Will he sell it to me and let me truck it to Copenhagen and float it to the West Coast of USA?
Jorn, if you read us, how about taking the plans and converting this thing to modular construction and let's build these babies and float them all over the world.
The world would be a better place.
I'll try this...
If the image doesn't show, then go to the web link below at pritzkerprize.com, which should download a PDF doc about him; than go to page 43 to see his house. It makes a fabulously calming desktop background. Try it. You'll like it.

Thanks for a look at another Utzon house...
...or at least one conceived by Utzon. The R.E. ad is a little hard to follow on exactly what his contribution was.
It always amazes me to see the extremes architects are capable of. Looking at these houses, I would never guess Utzon built the Sydney Opera House.
An architect like Wright was almost always able to leave his fingerprints on even his most different buildings.
But I don't see Utzon carrying many visual cues through from these houses to the Sydney Opera House.
Maybe I haven't looked closely enough.
Or maybe Utzon is less of a creature of his own style than was Wright of his.
