Based on the lounge I would say walnut. But the edge of the ottoman looks more promising. Do you have a photo of the underside of the ottoman?

BTW, I do like the look and I'd guess rosewood. Dinged up a bit, perhaps, but I prefer these sets when they show some age.

Look at it this way. At least two people posting on this thread now have a better idea of what rosewood looks like, and who knows how many lurkers learned something. And that's a good thing.
A lot of threads like this have useful information other than what the main question and answer are.
