I saved this floor lamps life.... Anyone have any info about it???

I rescued this floor lamp from a scrap heap last week. I've been searching and searching but I haven't found another example of one yet. I'm thinking it maybe more art deco than mid century maybe from around the 30's-40's. The shade is made from aluminum and the rest is made from heavy cast iron. I haven't found any other markings besides T-2114 on the bottom. Any opinions or info will be appreciated very much. Thanks!

No idea on maker or history, but I've got a hunch that was not the original color. Some sort of bronze or dark green would look great on that thing. Nice score.
