They're all
from the same person, who apparently had one bad Ebay deal with a San Francisco-based silver dealer a year ago and then decided to launch this online vendetta against her.
The person isn't just posting here; there are similar outbursts all over the web. And the complaint site he refers to has a policy of (almost) never removing anything posted, so if you search there for the dealer's name, you can see all the posts he's made -- one every couple days for the last year -- along with the dealer's patient rebuttals..
I don't know whether it's just the all-caps thing, but the thread there is sorta disturbing. You definitely feel that you're reading the mad scribblings of a lunatic.
I believe that his
Continuous postings are having the opposite effect. A single well written post would have made me think twice before ever purchasing anything from the San Franciso seller. Now, I see his posts' headers, and I think that he may have the problem, and is bullying the seller. I no longer wish to avoid her business.
Me thinks he doth protests too much.
How it works
AllthingsStig,
I spoke with Rachel Prater at Gallery 925 and found that the site mentioned will remove the postings should you pay for this service.
The good news is I sold her a Georg Jensen sterling silver dipping pen that she and her clients desired to acquire more than I wanted to keep.
I do not care for any form of writing that diminishes the lessons (form and style) I was taught as a child.
Thank you, nice guy, for the clarification of the poster's site.
It is a shame that the gallery will continue to be harassed since I doubt that the poster will pay to have the thread removed.
It might be a sign of my age, but I was taught to always take the high road, and use diplomacy over bullying tactics. You get more with honey than vinegar.
They are the first pair I...
They are the first pair I really don't like as simply the flair does not work today.
It can look like you are going to a 70s fancy dress.
They should be closer fitting like all your others for a modern interpretation of vintage stylish cool.
That's an awesome mirror.
too funny.
Yes the pants once belonged to SDR, I think. They arrived with a matching bikini scarf that had navy blue"rick-rack" attached for tying it under my chin. waffle, the mirror is growing on me, and my mid-section is growing in it....I guess. I'll give it 6 months and it'll be re-donated to charity.
Bloated and blessed,
Aunt Mark
ps I adore navy blue shoes and belts. carry on.
