I need help Identify... this Desk

You now I have to agree with the last post.This is most definitely a triangle man piece.It was designed in 1977 at his Sesame street studio in collabaration with the cookie monster.It was specifically designed for the new interior of Oscar's garbage can.This desk is absolutely priceless...

Not to dredge this thread up again but I just happend to be browsing around and found what I believe is the same desk that was recently at a Chicago auction house.

Definitely not the same desk! Very few similarities. What makes you think these two desks have anything in common?
I suppose they are similar in that the item in the auction is definitely a desk, and the item in question is making an attempt to be a desk.
Time to get your vision checked, or a new computer.

I hate the design too, but John's right about not needing all the hate. As the fundamentalist Christians say, hate the sin but love the sinner. Love John, hate the desk. And John I do hate this desk. I have to ask, have you bought this...? It reminds me of nonsensical, rather thoughtless props from B science fiction movies. Flash Gordon meets Charles B. Pierce. It's truly the most hideous thing I've ever seen. 😛

It would be much more interesting if you addressed my comments. I admit that I did take some liberties with the level of sarcasm, however, there are two photographs which lend validity to my post. Do you honestly think that these desks are identical?
If so, I would like to know how you can draw this conclusion.
There is no need for profanity and name calling.
By the way, 'A*hole' is incorrect, it should be 'a**hole'. Did you make that mistake because you can't count or because you can't spell?

I just didn't think your sarcasm (if you can even call that level of rudeness sarcasm) was necessary or called for. When I made this post the first picture link wasn't working so I was going off memory. Now that I can visually compare both desks, side by side, they are not that similar except for basic overall shape and the fact that they are desks. Apparently your pretention for both design and spelling have put me in my place. I'll check my eyes and my computer when you check your ego.

Just peoples opinions! we dont all have the same "taste" thank god.I personally think its absolutely hideous but thats just my view.I dont know the designer but i hope you find out more about it. Do you honestly like the piece?
