Hello, I picked this chair up over the weekend and was wondering if anyone knows who designed it and what the name if it is. It's constructed of bent would and bent steel rod. It has the "Glenn of California" label on the bottom which helps narrow down possible designers, but I have been unable to find a comparable. Thanks in advance!

You know, I'm wondering the same thing. In my research since a fellow member pointed me in the right direction, not one time is Glen of California mentioned. Hmm, interesting. I wish I could find a product catalogue from GOC from 1962...that's the date on the tag of the bottom of my chair.
Glenn of California
I have a 1962 Glenn of California catalog and these chairs are not listed there.
The listed designers in the 1962 catalog are John Kapel, Milo Baughman, Richard Thompson, Greta Grossman, Craig Nealee, Don Walton, Stan Young, Kipp Stewart and Stuart MacDougal
I think its a safe bet that these chairs were not designed by Kapel, Baughman, Grossman or Kipp Stewart and Stuart MacDougal as their output for Glenn of California is well understood.
Clifford Pascoe never had anything to do with Glenn of California (He owned his own furniture company for godsakes!) and it is entirely unlikely that these chairs were designed by him, any Pascoe attribution should be considered total garbage in my opinion.
Inspired by a Pascoe design?
Pretty similar to this chair:
(edit: sorry for the redundant info - this similarity was already pointed out by Emcee M above).
