Here's my bottom line
As I see it, this forum is soely for the sharing of information and opinions of 20th century design.
If a member of this forum know of a cool place to share with the rest of us, it's really cool for you to do so.
If you want to keep your favorites to yourself, then do so.
But by starting by saying "I don't usually do this, but", give the rest of us the feeling that you don't agree with the free sharing of information.
If that's the case, then yiou can hardly get upset for a member of the this forum to comment on that.
OK? Fair?

Whats the matter? Am I the only one who understood what Killian meant?
It is very nice of him to share the info about this auction site with all of us (although, I already knew about it...), instead of keeping it to himself. (which I'm sure most of us do from time to time...).
The cheeky introduction, was simply Killian telling us that he was going to do something he might come to regret...

I stand corrected, LRF
We are so terribly and painfully slow on this side of the pond - veritable slugs in the global ecosystem; safe, senseless and satisfied... Yet we have so much time and energy to post 100s of meandering and topicless threads to dilute the value of internet content forum. And that, my brother, is the American way. That, and an absolute commitment to wrong thinking. Forgive me from swerving from those core values, even if just for an instant.
PS The rooms below and aside are vacant as they are overpriced in this market.
It is so "George Bush" to...
It is so "George Bush" to sheepishly apologize for getting it all wrong and then excuse it with "plain old American stupidity

Do you know what the famous room 606 is anyway? Should it mean anything to a mid century expert like yourself?
As a fellow American, I think Forest Gump is a better example. He said "stupid is as stupid does". Most of us have become ashamed of our non speaking president. He is the Rex Grossman of oration.
America was once a country of idealistic people who left the worst world leaders, and countries across the pond. Is Bush as bad as any English King/Queen? A Stalin, Hitler, etc...
