Id rather let you guys find this gem yourselves but I have met the owners and like them so I will do this only once.

Mighty big of you
There seems to be some reverse snobery about sharing information, but I have never subscribed to that.
I might not let potential competition in on a particular auction, but I don't see why "you will do this only once".
Is that Gentlemanly?

What kind of an answer do...
What kind of an answer do you want here Barry ?
If someone here likes the site great,if others pass it by without bidding then thats great too.
I dont think this thread needed either your question or my answer.

What I want
to know: is it considered a faux pas to refer to other design blogs/boards ? As if they were "competition" ?
I do this but I don't see anybody else do it. And I had one comment from a board owner, to the effect that she wanted all the conversation about MCM design to occur in one place -- her board. (At least that's the way I took it.) Is that unusual ?

The best part of this forum is the ability to share information around the world !!!!! that is the beauty that this forum has,
I for one always try to thank anyone that post information that can be helpful to me, especially SDR , who always seemes to find helpful things for me,
unfortunately I never get it back... but that does not hurt my feelings as I enjoy good info, and will give it or get it any way I can,
As far as other blogs on design i find them 0 competition. I have seen several and would mention them if i subscribed to them and thought they were worthwhile,

The other way to look at...
The other way to look at it,which was the way I actually meant was that I was inviting possible competition on myself to an auction where if you bother to look up the archives things tend to go cheap.
I have met the owners once when I collected my purchases from two sales,I liked them but I stand to gain nothing pointing anyone towards their site infact there is only a downside for me.
