I just bought a piece of black marble with white vains 114cm X 57cm (45in X 22.5in). It is the top for the Florence coffee table (by Knoll). However i am not keen on the legs for that table, so i am looking for ideas. I have some in mind that would use chome legs and platform, or even a solid rectangle, about 20cm off the ground. Ideally to go with LC1 Le Corbusier chairs. Any design thoughts? I quite like the B&B Italia Diesis table platform, however that is cast aluminum so i doubt i could have that reproduced cheaply. Also looked at eliptical table legs, but i will be using the table for a bunch of licquor bottles so need something stronger.
tubular steel
I would use square section tubular steel. We've just had some concrete tables made and they sit on a steel frame. We could get the legs made for you perhaps? We are based in london.
