I have searched everywhere with no success in identifying this American? Made lounge chair in oak or elm wood. Because it has brass ferrules I am inclined to think it is American, but I know some Dux pieces were made with these.
Please help if you can ? Many thanks!

I am pretty sure that is Elm. I also agree that it is probably American, but mainly because of the Elm, and characteristics of the design. It has the basic form of a Baumritter lounge chair(they also like stained elm for their lounges), but the chunky un-refined design aspects of a Gunlocke. Of course the single-piece cushion support was done a lot by Thayer Coggin, but I am pretty sure this is not one of theirs.
I am quite far from an expert on identification, but if I were to guess this is probably an in-house design from an off-brand manufacturer, that borrowed a number of other common characteristics of the time, and mashed it up into their own.
But like I said, I am far from an expert at ID.
