Hi I'm looking for some input on a large amount of operating Room /medical heavy gauge stainless Steel cabinets, book shelves and draws(22 total) that I bought.I would prefer to sell them all together as one package deal. The way I see it is its a win win for me if they sell good for someone else and for me and if they don't sell Good for me alone.I have already thought of a million uses for them in my home and my weekend place.I am looking for some help on a value for the total package and also if you think it would be a better idea to sell all the pieces individually. If anyone is interested please feel free to contact me and I'll send a few pictures and and all the sizes Thanks
No valuation either...
It's also against the rules to ask for pricing or valuation on pieces. It's all there in the forum rules in big bold letters which they ask you to read first.
I will say old medical equipment, or shelving, isn't exactly and easy sell or something that a value could be put on easily - except maybe raw scrap value for the metals involved.
Just because something was made 60 years ago doesn't mean its mid-century MODERN. MCM is a design style, not a catch all for everything thing manufactured from 1946 - 1970.

Craig's list if you are in the states.

I have a few medical stainless cabinets. Heavy and incredible quality.
Mine were free. Not an easy sell. Work well in a studio and mixed-use
area. Nice to see the recycle attempt, but a bitch to move/ store, while
trying to sell. Super for a camera collection that mine are used for.
This is the wrong place to post but you seem like just a 'drive by'
anyway, so i suppose your have hit every selling spot on the net by now...
thanks for your help
thanks Jim, i really appreciate your input.I think the Cabinets are super cool and I was hoping to get some positive input about what to do with them for this site. I think that design is about working in older and unusual pieces like my cabinets in with your new pieces, not to be too PC but it is a form of recycleing. So if some people west of me and very far west of you don't understand that than to bad for them..Cheers
I am adding some pictures
I am adding a couple of pictures of a few of my cabinets.I think a few of you have very strong opinions about something that you have never seen.I believe there are a lot of great uses for the cabinets,if you cant find any at all then you are very narrow minded and lack the creativity that feeds a forum like this.I thank the people with positive input and I think they have the right frame of mind.
.
I actually don't see many opinions at all above. Just responses
to an excited sales pitch.
No pics in your first post and just seems you are looking to sell.
This forum is not a place to sell. Just a fact. If you are at all familiar
with this forum, you should understand it is odd to post here.
You should have no trouble selling if you are near a major city.
You did not even mention your location.
They are super and very well constructed now that pics are posted.
I have identical units in my studio. Free from a hospital in Brooklyn
that went out of business. Even free, most do not have room for
the heavy beasts. Limited buyers, so low prices. If you seek a bulk
buyer, he/she will have to store them and re-selling may be slow.
This is just a very international forum and the weight is near impossible
to ship. They work well in many settings, i agree. And many here are
familiar with industrial stainless in a modern setting.

regarding my cabinets
thanks for you new posts. The main reason that I posted my cabinets is that I really don't know what they are worth,or even who i should be selling them to.I was hoping I could get some advice from some of the more savvy people on this Forum.I do really appreciate the input that a few of you have given me and am using it to decide what I am going to do with all this stuff. Thanks again
