Another
of those British companies that collided with fashion in the mid-late sixties.
Meredew/ McIntosh are other examples.
Their earlier, and later, stuff looks stuffy and old-fashioned, but their stuff from this period now looks bang-on in terms of what's hot in 'retro' style.
They were clearly influenced by Danish design, and their dining chairs owe a lot to Hovmand Olsen, one often sees the chairs misattributed.

they're a match for your sideboards and they're nice chairs, I like them!
Bit prone to disintegrating foam, but easy enough to recover/ refill- there is a small screw on the backplate, and the seat lifts off.

You misunderstood me earlier.
Yes, I know the other styles with the reeded drawer fronts.
I've had a lovely one with tambour doors to each side.

Not any more
had one for several years, but packed it in a couple of years ago to concentrate on different things.
