Hi All,

Is this sofa/daybed worth calling the seller and have a look at and perhaps buy? Im guessing it needs reupholstering...I know this image wont tell you much, but maybe you can see something I cant since im new to this, or give me some advice on how to go about this if I go have a look at it.

Cheers

Hi
1000 SEK seems like a good price if the frame is in good condition.

thanks for replying 🙂
thats what im thinking too, I even got a bit suspicious...'cant be that cheap can it?'...but how much will fixing the cushions be..? It doesnt look to advanced, but who am I to judge. The ad says its only had one owner and bought in the late 50's. Should I worry about any bugs?

It looks like it needs to be...
It looks like it needs to be reupholstered, which in Sweden will cost you a lot more than the sofa itself.
On the other hand, if you're prepared to do the work yourself, it could be a good deal.
This is a problem in Sweden, reupholstering a piece is so expensive a lot of nice stuff ends up on the dump instead.
