Apparently Ed Koch was doin' alright. Who knew he had such a great collection of Art and 20th century design? Link to the Doyle Catalog of his collection to be auctioned later this month below. I have a whole new level of appreciation for my former Mayor.

fair at best
I considered both the Frank Stella and Red Grooms worth owning. The Frank Lloyd Wright for Cassina is quality manufacturing.
Seeing one piece of Yaacov Agam is seeing the entire collection. "In the manner of" leaves me cold.
The Edward Koch Estate lots 143-189 seemed rather small and insignificant, perhaps he thought like a great many depression era seniors that cash holdings are best.
