Can anyone help me identify authentic from a fake Philippe Starck Gun lamp.

Can you take it to a store that sells them and have it authenticated even tho it wasn't bought there? If so, is there one in the bay area you know off?

can you tell me anything by these photos? I know they are not much

thanks alot

Your photos are not the best, but from what I see the labeling looks correct and your shade appears wrong. I have two of the "real deal" Philippe Starck bedside lamps for comparison.
You are correct to take your lamp to a dealer for identification.

All the stickers look good and correct. i think it is an authentic lamp, however like it was pointed out above, the shade is wrong. Cheers!

Do the stores selling Starck lamðs do that for walk-in people that didn't buy the lamp there?

I dont own the lamp but I'm hoping to buy. I just don't want to buy a fake.
Any advise on what to look for, specific detail etc?
I haven't found any guidance on how to spot a fake one of those online.
Any advise greatly appreciated.
thanks

as far as walking into a store to confirm authenticity.
Worth Avenue (Palm Beach) has many upper end establishments whom wouldn't dare do any authenticating what-so-ever. You would politely guided to the front door. Your big gun lamp does appear to be from Flos (I purposely didn't insert the word "vulgar" anywhere above..in any of this posting...nope) but does wear the wrong shade.
Enjoy,
Aunt Mark
