How many shells chairs can you stack on top of each other?

I have some wide and narrow mount stacking shell chairs. They do come both ways. I not really sure why though....

Stacking chairs were manufactured in narrow mount as well. But normally if you find them in narrow, the shells will be scratched up pretty good from the narrow stacking assembly.

Operation: DG - report
I left work yesterday and went straight home to change, put on gloves and proceeded with Operation Danny Glover. I drove to the campus. After I persuaded the front guard to let me through the front gate, I drove straight toward the specific building. The dumpster wasn't there. DANG! BUT since it was at 630pm, the team doing the abatement to the building already left for the day. So I did what every midcentury ethusiast would do. I snooped (with my shirt against my nose and mouth). The building still contains a good amount of shells....on h-bases, stackable and scholastic. I have to make phone calls today.
