I bracketed my image URL with and it worked -- thank you, Patrick. As I already have a web hosting service (Yahoo Small Business Web Hosting -- highly recommended for clear and simple use) I had hoped to be able to use it here. (Oddly, it works with [img][/img] on other PHPbb message boards.) As a complete computer dunce I am the last person on the planet to "get it."
