Yeah-- you all have great cribs.
I too love DudeDah's succulents, and Jesgord's girl's are adorable (guessing they're the two in the foreground, since they resemble one another?).

Last year.
I predict this year will look about the same.

Love it.
That's my kind of Christmas tree, Woodywood.

Plastic and metal trees!
In the words of Charlie Brown...."Argh! All these articifial trees are depressing!"
I'm with you Riki...real greenery, always! And I like your riffing on the traditional colors. I've always liked a cinnabar + citron combo myself.
After looking at all these great pix I'm thinking that my Soltsice stuff is rather Alexander Girard. Lots of strong, clear tones in my holiday decor. It's really the only time of year I enjoy a profusion of color. Banish the long, dark night and all of that pre-christian hoopla.
Now, where are the pot lids, must set up a good demon-scaring racket...

christmas art is too...
christmas art is too representational
aint gonna be no festive stuff in my house.
I'm not the kind to believe that one man could walk on water, get executed and come back to life. I mean, I'd have to be really stupid to think that! 😀

OMG! Lunchbox!
That's horrendous...in a fascinating train wreck kind of way 😉 I think you just might have Spanky beat!
DudeDah....Blik! I love Blik graphics....and Threadless T-shirts! The colors in that room are fab. I kind of miss my olive/citron greens. They look like crap out here in the southwestern sun. Something about the crystal blue skies just destroys those tones and make them look very muddy and off. I've had to move my palette to more oranges and reds with a bit of greyed aqua. Which, I like, particularly the oranges, but I miss my lovely cool greens.

I now have a cardboard box...
I now have a cardboard box with an aluminum tree still inside sitting in my livingroom for about two weeks...does that count for decoration? Have no clue when I'll get the actual tree up. Hopefully, tomorrow but work has been horrendously busy with tons of overtime, so who knows?

The aluminum tree!
I was going to get the real deal, but time is flying by. Therefore, the old stand-by; can't say I'm disappointed. Cheers. Happy Holidays!

your tree
woodywood,
Tell me more about that tree. I have a collection of Baccarat, Daum, Lalique, and Steuben Christmas ornaments that get lost on a regular tree. I have a Kuno Prey bottle brush tree that I like to look at with no decorations.
