Hille chair. Robin Day? Info needed.

Could anyone give me any more info on this Hille chair.
I picked it up in a junk shop in London for £100.
I'm pretty sure it is designed by Robin Day in the 50's?

I have searched everywhere and can only find one photo (attached) of another example with no other info.

If anyone knows
the name of the chair, **confirmed - Chevron by Hille**
model number,
date of issue, **confirmed 1959**
date discontinued
what it might be worth

This will help inform me on how much to spend on tidying it up and might help me find another - a pair nestled around my teak coffee table would be great...

Is it teak or beech?! **confirmed Teak**

Yes it is a Robin Day Chevron chair for Hille. Don't have access to my Robin Day book but will check dates for you later.

Is this a rare chair or an irrelevant design?
I think it looks great and oozes 50's style - but am a little miffed as to why it does not appear on google with info like eames or panton might?

certainly not an irrelevant design
I suppose fairly rare, don't see them that often but we're not talking super-rare. I had a pair a while back and really liked them, not worth loads of money but probably around £250-£400 each in nice condition.

do you still have this chair? if so would you be willing to sell it? I came across this designer last week and am in love with this chair...but of course everywhere i look its sold out. Let me know if you are willing to sell it.
