I have a beautiful new chair that I've recently had upholstered but I'm unsure of maker or designer so If anyone can help that would be great to find some sort of ID.
Teak arm rests with Oak legs, I'm just waiting on the brass buttons which go over the screw heads, looks 1950s judging by the hogs hair or horse hair used in the upholstery with thin latex rubber over the top.
I had it upholstered in the same as original style but I think the upholsterer was a bit generous with the amount of foam used, I think it needs to be slightly thinner on profile.
Anyway thanks in advance. DC- New Zealand

Never seen those two screws...
Never seen those two screws on the front legs. And coupled with a single screw on the back legs.
And this chair of unknown origin is for sale in Australia, with the same odd screws configuration. So I would guess it is Australian.

The screws used in the legs...
The screws used in the legs of the high back chair are identical to the photo below which has its brass dome cap attached on a coffee table by Trioh Denmark.
Its an oversized strait head screw with a fine thread inside the head which the domed cap is threaded into. simple strong and quite nice with the original cap attached but unsightly without.
Thanks.

I must not have been very...
I must not have been very clear:
The first thing I noticed when I looked at the chair was that there are those two plugs/screws on the front leg. Odd detail. I think I would have expected to see only one. And I can't remember ever seeing a Danish chair like that. And you are in New Zealand. And down in Australia and New Zealand there are very Danish looking pieces that are local production.
So, the possibility that it was produced local to you suggests itself.
