Has anyone gone to Herman Miller's website? They're now selling all of their For the Home products directly, probably ticking off their authorized dealers. I know that Unica is no longer carrying Herman Miller. Neither Hive nor Highbrow is showing the new Nelson Basic Storage cabinets and metal legged bench, although their street date was last Monday.

The truth is that Hive and Highbrow's prices for Herman Miller products is always lower than the 'actual list price', and that list price is what Miller is selling their stuff for....and they likely charge for shipping too.

It doesn't look too good...check out the high prices being asked for those new Basic Storage Cabinets. Ridiculously high priced!

why would anyone care
I think it is a great thing that Herman Miller is selling direct. To bad if the other internet companies don't like it. they are trying to sell more of the shell chairs, and other goods that modernica and others have been making big sales on.
Now you can buy direct.

Higher, tho
Lloyd:
The 3 seat Eames Sofa in basic leather is selling for $9399.00 at Herman Miller's store;
it's $7799.00 at Hive, and by adding basic leather at $1200.00, it appears to be $8999.00 with free shipping.
That appears to be a $400.00 difference and it's not clear how much tax and shipping HM charges.
