I have some Lanalux fabric. The wear rating is very low and I'm pretty sure it's because the fabric is going to pill. I mean, that's what the wear rating is about---how many double rubs the fabric can take before it starts to pill. The wool threads in this fabric are what's called "roving"---unplied wool, no twist to it at all. it's very soft and luxurious but I wouldn't use it on anything that's going to get a lot of use.
(I used it on cushions for my Ib Kofod-Larsen hoop chair but it's not a chair that is sat in very often so it's fine with me. I love how it looks!)
Hallingdal, Tonus, Tonica are all good choices from Maharam/Kvadrat. Maharam has a lot of others that would be great---just go to their website and look. They give wear ratings and their color swatches are very accurate. You can order swatches for free but you need a tax ID to order the actual fabric. Consult a decorator or architect if you don't have a tax ID and then expect to pay their markup over the prices given on the Maharam site.
