The only two pieces of furniture
I can think of that swiveled was the Eames Lounge Chair (which is currently available), and the Nelson Flying Duck chair, which was not a best seller in the first place.
Of course, many of the Eames plastic chairs had the swivel option, but who know what they mean?
Uggh..tops?
Seriously? Those are the only toys I can think of - sans the Do-Nothing-Machine - that "whirl". But to my knowledge most of the tops in the Eames' collection were found throughout the world - not manufactured. If it IS the tops it's almost as dumb as the Eames' House Bird.
I'm extremely...
I'm extremely disappointed...Announced tonight, a set of 3 spinning solid walnut tops. So bizarre.

Chewy
You're right. They didn't design them. But they liked them. Just like they didn't design the Eames house Bird. The Eames office just has these tops with little Eames patterns on them and such....
SO when they run out of Eames stuff to sell that they designed they just start selling stuff they like?
Next, there will be the Eames house bucket of chicken. You tear off the breaded skin to reveal the baked-in Eamesian dot pattern on the meat.
