Does anyone have an original Herman Miller Low Rod Base? I am interested to know the various dimensions -- e.g. distance between the two rods that touch the floor, the length of those two rods, height of the mounting points, etc.

Thanks!

Finally decided to pull out the tape measure...
Space from front rod to back is 15 inches. Front rod width is 20 inches, back rod is 15 1/2. Front mounts at 11 inches off the ground, back at 9.
Anything else? 😉

Thank you sir
I was asking because I recently purchased a base from Modernica which looked different from one that I had gotten from them several years ago. The older base has ~16" between the front and back rods, so I'm slightly annoyed that they aren't the same.

Figures. I had two mint shells that I bought eiffel bases from Modernica for. The dealer tried to force them on there, and my shock mounts busted off. So then I had to give them more business by paying to get them to fix my shock mounts! Ugh.

Just measured a Modernica...
Just measured a Modernica low rod I had stuffed away. Back mounts are an inch too high at 10 inches instead of 9. That's the thing with Modernica. They use the right materials. But they don't give a damn. Quality materials doesn't necessitate a quality product. They don't seem to know what the term precision means. Their craftsmanship is really quite shite. I hope they go the way of the dinosaur.

Crap.
Now I'm going to have to go home and measure my Modernica CC base.
