Does anybody have a clue as to what line this is from? A local antiques shop has it listed as Herman Miller. I can't find anything like it online.

Herman Miller
bgillettephoto,
They are correct, the piece pictured is from the Milcare system by Herman Miller (1985: Herman Miller's Health Science Division becomes a wholly owned subsidiary known as Milcare).
I like the tambour door function. There is a "hook" on the back that enabled this piece to be mounted on the wall to a "rail system" (in a hospital setting cleaning the floor is simplified - the unit is elevated). This system, under a different name, was also sold to schools for use in dormitories (configured for hanging clothes).
A similar unit is currently available on eBay (I have included the link). The "buy it now" price is okay for this piece.
Like my Herman Miller Ethospace® cabinet system (the last thing you acquired #19), these are good quality pieces for the garage or basement storage.

Thanks!
Thanks for all of the info. I did some more searching after posting but couldn't find the exact one until I read that it was Millcare and a lot older. I'm going to go in sometime this week and see what I can get it for - my worry is that they have it marked as "mid-century modern" due to it being HM and will probably expect a premium.
I like the shutter doors on the one you linked, but I love the primary colors of the one I posted. Everything I've found online seems to be a shade of beige, hospital blue, or hospital maroon.

good luck
bgillettephoto,
When this unit was new, each and every drawer and container was an option for an additional cost "above and beyond" the cabinet. Check out the photo in the attached eBay link to see the same primary cabinet color with the assorted color interior fittings.
My thinking is that the system, as pictured, is not worth more than $200.00 maximum. Good luck.
