I have a hopsack Eames EA117 which has just the gas lift, no tilt. There are no identification marks on it anywhere, if there were any stickers they have fallen off. The gas lift mechanism does however say SUSPA 353 Patent Pending. Would this be Herman Miller / ICF or even a good copy? Thanks in advance.

I am not a lot of help on the aluminum chairs. But this chair just does not look right to me. The chair itself looks good but the chair control mechanism and the attachment do not look like Herman Miller. The pneumatic lift is a recent addition and I have not seen that handle and it just does not look correct to me. Like i said I am not an expert on these though. I can not tell you who manufactured it. I am sorry I am not more help.
I should not have answered your inquiry....
I have never even heard of ICF. The chair does not appear to be a Herman Miller product. It looks a bit clumsy, and is missing "the antler" from beneath. But I'll bet that it is quite functional as an office chair.
so sorry, and best of luck with your search.
Mark
