Per your request Mark, I know this isn't a guitar forum, but here goes.
I just completed my first electric guitar build based on a Fender Jazzmaster.
The body is walnut with a pick guard fashioned from some re-purposed 60's formica countertop laminate. The pickups (for all of you who haven't fallen asleep yet) were extracted from a really crappy 60's Japanese guitar and sound amazing. I drew the Gable logo which is styled after an early Fender logo on my iPad using a program called procreate and had the water slide decal made for it.
All in all a fun process and it kept me off the streets for a while. And by the way it plays like buttah, or at least like margarine.

Wow...
That is a beautiful thing.....but what, no whammy bar? 🙂
Curious about the weight of the walnut body and what the balance is like...

Thanks guys!
Thanks Auntie and Solange, there is always the possibility of a Bigsby showing up to the party in the future. As for the weight it is very well balanced since I planed the body quite thin, about a third less than the norm, so it is very comfortable to play.
