I just bought this small wall unit that has one cabinet but it turned out that the seller didn't have the hardware that would allow me to hang the cabinet on to the wooden rail. Here is a photo of the back of the cabinet that has a metal bracket with a hook and the second photo shows the wooden rail on the cabinet.
From what I have seen before with other wall units the metal bracket with the upside down hook should be parallel to the side of the rail and there should be a metal peg that goes into one of the holes on the side of the rail and it sticks out and catches the upside down hook of the cabinet but with my cabinet the hooked bracket is perpendicular to the hole of the wooden rail instead of being parallel so I have no idea what hardware to use to make this work.
Does anyone know what I need to make this work?
Thanks so much!

Foxxy
has got it. From the set up it appears to be a Torbjorn Afdal unit. And that piece is a simple stiff metal rod bent in a "u". Easily replicated.

And thanks
To Foxxy. It would have taken me a long winded response to explain it as well as Foxxy did with a good illustration. It is a simple and logical set up, but not a typical way to hang a cabinet.
