Help on this very cool lounge Chair, Wesnofa? Not sure....Danish?  

I am thinking Westnofa from the back detail - but I am also thrown off by the Bruno Matthson style chrome base!
Tough one. 

The chair is an early ekorness chair which came with a matching ottoman.

Can anyone verify this is an early Ekornes Chair? I can't find pictures or information on the web showing early versions of the chair.
The Base is very reminescient of a Bruno Mathsson Easy chair - he did one for Dux that looks very familiar.

Not Ekornes Stressless. Base is wrong as are the arms and back. There is an example of an original 1971 Stressless on the Ekornes website and a google search will give further examples. All the chromes bases on the early versions are the same, regardless of whether the chairs were fixed leather backs or canvas slings with leather cushions. They also have the little black knob thingy (technical term) which tensions the recline.
