Does anyone know anything about these chairs and table.
40's? 50's?

The green chair in the second picture is 1 of 4 that are a set with the table.
The third chair is just a lonely random.

Thanks for your input ahead of time.

The chairs posted by...
Killian are McCobb chairs. Winchendon manufactured a great deal of McCobb's work so maybe research them and you can find the set?

Looks like Panton
to me -- or maybe Warren Platner ?

I'm sorry, but I don't think that set is a Paul McCobb design. It is frequently attributed as McCobb, but I don't think that is accurate.
If you don't believe me, maybe the resident McCobb expert, straylight will chime in.

Peg Board...
Haha. I'm familiar with straylight. I have learned a lot from his research on McCobb. Very very helpful! I have always thought that it was a McCobb design, I stand corrected I guess. Strange how some designs are attributed to certain designers. Maybe its a Platner/McCobb love child?
Now lets talk about those 'McCobb globes'... 🙂

Best current guess
My best current guess is that these wrought iron and oak chairs were manufactured by Selrite sometime in the mid 60's.
This guess is based upon very similar Selrite designs in that time period. It is only a guess though as I have yet to find authoritative proof of my assumption.
One thing is for certain, and that is that they were not designed by Paul McCobb. There is absolutely nothing in the historical record to support any claim that they were.

What McCobb Globes?
The globes are one of my favorite examples of mis-attribution.
It's easy to see where this started looking at the materials and construction, but my research has shown that they are of 70's vintage, manufactured several years after Paul McCobb's death.
